The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a federal grant program that provides financial aid to undergraduate students with exceptional financial need who are enrolled in at least a half-time degree program. FSEOG grants are awarded to students who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree and who meet the program’s eligibility requirements.
FSEOG grants are important because they can help students pay for college expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and living expenses. FSEOG grants are also beneficial because they do not have to be repaid.
